ASRA Osicus Screening Audiometer

Designed to be a lightweight, small but robust screening instrument, ideal for Occupational Health Nurses or Technicians on the move, it provides the testing capability required for workplace industrial screening. The recorded files are generated in the same file format as the ASRA Classic and ASRA Curve audiometers and as such can be interchanged for storage and/or comparison purposes.

Printouts are produced in full A4 size for ease of assessment, and long term stability and can be saved in pdf format.

Osicus offers a unique additional feature, as a comparison between current and previous audiogram for an individual can be generated to predict potential future hearing degradation unless the rate of loss is reduced, normally by a change in exposure.

The Osicus has a number of benefits to the user:

  • Very easy to use
  • Small, Lightweight & Portable
  • Automatic HSE categorisation of results
  • USB linked and powered
  • Has a range from – 10dB to +90dB
  • Hearing loss predictive capability
  • Options for Manual and Automatic testing

Small, lightweight and durable, the Osicus audiometer is highly portable and has a friendly, easy to use interface.
The Osicus software is easy to use and automatically checks the installation on switch on. The audiogram is displayed as the test proceeds and on completion can be accepted, printed out and saved to the archive. If any thresholds are suspect, these points can be rechecked prior to saving etc. Our unique predictive analysis system intelligently examines hearing test results and can demonstrate to employees how their hearing will progress if they do not wear protection or limit exposure.
